Weekly classes are available for those looking to develop new skills and workshops for those looking for a little "me time" and focus their creativity for a day or two. Offerings run from March 12 through April 14. Classes fill quickly so all are encouraged to register early.

Work by Local Artist Jay Zerbe Coming to Lubeznik Center for the Arts


Local artist, Jay Zerbe, will be bringing his latest show,"eCollage", to Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA). Zerbe's digital collages are constructed in photoshop using elements from his paintings and drawings ordered in many layers. He then prints the image with archival ink on 8.5x11" archival paper.

Lubeznik-Center-for-the-Arts-Exhibit-Highlights-Artists-Living-With-DisabilitiesFeatured Creatures showcases artworks completed by student artists of Lubeznik Center for the Arts' (LCA) Health Promotion through the Arts Program, in partnership with The Social and Learning Institute (SLI) and Paladin, Inc, provides weekly classes for adults living with developmental and cognitive disabilities. This program, now entering its tenth year, provides a creative space for these artists to explore and develop motor and vocabulary skills, as well as develop social support and peer relationships. Thanks to Duneland Health Council for generously sponsoring this program.

Pines Village Retirement Communities Welcome Residents and Art Lovers to Meet Terry Walsh at the "Meet the Artist" Event


Everyone builds a unique relationship with art throughout their life, from finger-painting as a preschooler to wine tastings at painting classes as an adult. Pines Village seeks to continue building that relationship into retirement, and on Sunday installed a new gallery by artist Terry Walsh, who spoke with residents and visitors to the retirement village at a Meet the Artist reception.
